Measures the concentration of viable saprophytic fungal colony-forming units (CFU) or propagules within a sample. Results provide quantitative verification of fungal populations for product quality assurance and Certificate of Analysis reporting.

SAP-MI

Saprophytic Morphological Identification

Identifies saprophytic fungal species using colony characteristics and microscopic examination of spores, hyphae, reproductive structures, and other distinguishing morphological features. Useful for confirming product composition and detecting unwanted fungal contaminants.

SAP-VP

Saprophytic Viability & Performance

Determines whether saprophytic fungi remain viable by culturing the organisms on selective growth media under controlled laboratory conditions. Colony development, growth rate, and morphology are evaluated to verify that organisms are alive, active, and capable of normal growth.
